Calltrade – The marketplace for international carriers

Calltrade Carrier Service AG is a leading provider of international telecommunications services. Founded and based in Zurich (Switzerland), our company supports infrastructure around the globe.

Our core competence lies in providing voice termination services for telecommunications companies and service providers. Calltrade’s customer base comprises fixed-line providers, mobile phone companies and cable companies. Almost all of the 20 main international carriers rely on our services.

Our success has grown out of our many years of experience: In 1996 we emerged in a newly liberalized market of telephone services under the name Callcom AG. This started exclusively in the Swiss market. Then, in 1998, the publicly traded RSL COM became the company’s principal shareholder and renamed the company RSL COM Schweiz AG.

In the year 2001 the parent company went into administration. A management buyout secured the company’s continued existence. The company’s internationalization was heralded by the change of its name to Calltrade Carrier Services AG.

Today, Calltrade has customers and suppliers on every continent.
